The paradigm-busting technology behind MagCloud is the digital press, which does not require the massive print runs ordinary presses need in order to be profitable. Some print publishers are now beginning to use digital presses to reprint out-of-print books. Maybe they should shift their publication process so they can use these flexible new presses for everything.
