A couple of months ago I made HERO and STAY, the first two David and Seth stories, available free for a limited time only on my newsletter group. The response has been tremendous and I want to thank everyone who joined up. Your feedback and support have been just wonderful. There are a lot of things I love about writing, but hearing from readers is the best part of all.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Since I am pitching a prequel to RUST BELT that will include HERO, STAY, and SCARS, as well as never-before-seen new material delving even deeper into David and Seth's past, it's time to take HERO and STAY down. Next Monday, Dec. 7 at 9 a.m., they will be removed from the files section of the jessicafreely Yahoo! group, and will no longer be available.
About my newsletter group: it's a low-traffic, moderator-posts-only Yahoo! group used solely to announce new Jessica Freely releases, free fiction postings and author events. I take permission-based marketing seriously, so I do not spam the group with blog links, jokes, minutiae of my daily life, etc. We all get enough email, I won't needlessly send you more.
