We're winding up to the end of the Polaris Project Fundraiser, during which I have pledged to donate half of my proceeds from the first four months of Broken's sales to Polaris Project.
Polaris Project takes a comprehensive approach to combatting human trafficking and modern day slavery by providing direct assistance to those in need and helping create systemic changes to combat the crime. They operate a national human trafficking hotline and work to pass federal and state legislation to protect trafficking victims and bring traffickers to justice.
I'm thrilled by the response this has recieved, and I want to thank everyone who's supported this valuable organization by buying a copy of Broken. As of my last royalty statement, we've raised $271.56! I would love to make that at least $300 by end of the fundraiser, which is Jan. 20.
